Kyiv Metro is among the major entities of the municipal transport infrastructure. The enterprise provides for annual ridership of over 500 mln. passengers. Kyiv Metro amounts total system length of about 70 km. Three depots maintain 824 vehicles.
Not long ago the subway IT department had to migrate the enterprise 1C system to 8.2 version. The project budget, however, did not cover any hardware upgrade.
Specialists of the enterprise believe the cloud solutions to rescue the project, in fact.
